Laugh for the day

I thought maybe we all needed to lighten up a little today and just have a little laugh. Lets all laugh along.

Jordan turns 2

After a great pizza meal and some playing in the habitrail at Chuck E Cheeze, Jordan blew out the candle on her cake and we all chowed down. MMMMMM good. She opened a few presents and then it was back to the habitrail, rides and more games. It was a big day and I think she probably had a long nap after she got home.

OHHHHH O!

Sarah was telling me today about how fantastic the Cirque de Soleil production of "O" was that they just saw last week in Vegas. I was hoping I could get the dvd to see it, but apparently there isn't one available yet. I did find this clip on You Tube though and I can see why they were so impressed. It looks like it is worth the trip to Vegas to see it in person!!

More Young at Heart

While doing our walk at Westgate today we saw that the "Young at Heart" movie was coming soon. Here's a little more background on the group that I featured earlier.

Dancing with the stars

Just in case you missed Steve and Jonathons' Mango last week, it was so fun. Steves regular dance partner was sick during rehersal, so her husband stood in for her part and it was so much fun, they brought them back to do the full version at the end of the show.

Home to rest up before...

I'm back home and after I get all rested up, I've decided to try out for the "Young at Heart choir". Look for me on tour.

Heading to Cherokee Friday

I leave my temporary home at Bobs Friday morning and head to my next abode at the Comfort Suites Inn in Cherokee, NC. It is about 15 miles on the other side of where the University is located, but once I am done with the event and loaded, I am 15 miles closer to home on Sunday. It is in the mountains right at the entrance to the Smokey Mountaian National Park, so it should be scenic. It'ssupposed to be warmer tomorrow, but rain and thunderstorms are also moving in for Fri and Saturday. See you all soon.

Dancing with the Queens

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Htug-MdRLIw
Never doubt a bunch of drag queens with big hair can dance. This is the I will Survive production number from "Pricilla Queen of the Desert" stage production from Sydney performed on "Dancing with the Stars" in 2006. Its fun and has GREAT costumes.
